The Moorish tiled geometric shapes from XIV century gave way to the tile arista in the XVI based on floral designs. Here it was necessary to make a kind of relief to separate colors.<\/p>\n<p>But it was the Italian Niculoso Pisano who brought in Seville the Renaissance technique of painting on flat tile.
